Wonderfest 2007 Show Report
(Page Four - Lizard Lounge)
(Friday, May 25th @ 9:00 pm – Lizard Lounge hangout)
After the IM Festivities, I moseyed over to the Lizard Lounge, which is a bar and meeting area located in the hotel.
(On the way over I took a quick peek into the Dealer’s room that was surprisingly still pretty bare).
For years now, the Lizard Lounge has been Friday’s unofficial/official gathering place for the Wonderfest hoard, kind of kicking off the show’s weekend festivities.
Federation Models was sponsoring this event, and had a number of items out on display, along with having some kits out for sale.
Fellow modelers bring different items to the Lounge to show and share with others. These include anything from completed kits to under-construction projects and some kewl, vintage models that have been purchased.
I floated around checking out the models and dioramas that had found there way down to the area.
After hanging out there for a couple of hours, I decided to call it quits and retire for the evening. (I would need my beauty sleep for Saturday’s events).
