Wonderfest 2006 Show Report
(Page Three: Additional Vendors)
Other vendors I ended up making purchases at were the kind folks from
Kitbuilders. I purchased a 4-bottle set of acrylic air-brush ready flesh colored paints.
(They ran something around $13.00.) I also purchased 3 or 4 older editions of the Kitbuilder Magazine.
Speaking of magazines, I picked up an older copy of an Amazing Figure Modeler Magazine along with
the second volume of the Amazing Vehicular Modeler magazine.
From Steve “Cult-TV-Man” Iverson’s table I was able to track down (2) of Jay Chladek’s Jedi Starfighter decal sets.
From the folks at Aves I purchased a couple of the liquidy Fixit two-part Epoxy putty, along with a larger container
of their Apoxie Paste and a bottle of their “Safety Solvent.” (They were nice enough to throw in a pack of their “All Purpose,
self-hardening Critter Clay” for free!)
I added purchases of a 1/6th scale Insectoid “Umber Hulk” figure,
(from the Dungeons and Dragons Role-playing game).
I also bought an assembled/disassembled large 1/6th scale “Space Marine” Warhammer
Figure from this vendor. (The guy was nice enough to throw in a bunch of 1/6th
scale skulls along with the bust of a fantasy figure warrior babe for free!)
I also purchased a “Havoc Gunship” from Tyson Technologies.
Finally, I completed my purchases with a seriously discounted painted and assembled Jean Gray-Horizon Phoenix Figure,
(also from the X-men.) Although the arms had been broken off from the ole’ gal, the $5.00 price made it impossible for me to
pass this purchase up.
(I told you I had four years worth of missed purchases to make up for!)
