(Page Two - Vendor Room #2)

At the Crown Plaza there were two main vendor rooms set up. The second was located quite a distance down the hall from the first. I decided to head off to this second room first.

After entering the room I ran into my buddy Tom Parker (“Bwain”), who was set-up right next to the entrance. I shot the stuff with him for a bit, before my daughter was able to convince me to buy one of Tom’s Wizard of the Oz/Wicked Witch of the West Figure kits. (This will be another father/daughter model building project.)

Next, I visited Terry and Timi Webb, (from the Amazing Figure Modeler Magazine). They were situated directly across from Tom. In addition to picking up several Amazing Figure Modeler Magazines, I also purchased a slightly pricey and very much discontinued Polar Lights Godzilla Go-Cart Kit. I also decided to grab one of his almost discontinued Godzilla and King-Kong X-Acto resin knife holders. Terry did not have any on hand. However, I was able to pre-pay for them and have Terry ship them to me later.

I next ran into my buddies John Diaz (from Resin Realities) along with Wayne-the-Dane Hansen. There was a new Bulls-Eye figure out and about that caught my “Eye” – (no pun intended).

In addition Wayne had a new, really nice Zombie piece that I was admiring.

Claire and I ended up going around the rest of the room, checking out the remaining vendors. We stumbled upon a Toy Dealer who had a moving and talking Pokemon Pikachu Toy. After spending 5 minutes watching Claire play with Pikachu, smiling and laughing all the way I decided to buy it for her.

We ran into another Vendor-friend of mine, Robert Lee. I ended up purchasing a very tiny, 3-inch “Burner” Godzilla toy/figure/kit for Claire. (She was starting to make out like a bandit).

There were several other Dealers in the room that had model and model-related items that I ended viewing. They included KnifeManiac.
